About the event
The Living Lab Summit builds on the collaboration between TUM and Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, following the inaugural event held at Stanford in October 2025. This year, the Summit brings together a global network of over 20 partner universities to advance collaboration on living labs as platforms for experimentation, knowledge transfer, and innovation in sustainable urban transformation.
Together, we aim to strengthen how universities connect research, education, campus development, and societal partnerships to address complex sustainability challenges and accelerate the translation of knowledge into practice.
