The Green Offices of (TUM) are student-run sustainability offices supported by the TUM Sustainability Office. As central points of contact for sustainability on each campus, they play a crucial role in the university's sustainable transformation and help raise awareness of sustainability within the TUM community. Since the first Green Office was established in 2018, the initiative has grown to four campuses across TUM.
The Green Offices coordinate sustainability projects, connect existing initiatives, and bring together students, staff, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive new ideas. They also develop their own projects and support members of the TUM Community in implementing their sustainability initiatives. Their goal is to integrate sustainability into all areas of university life.

Key Activities of the Green Offices
The Green Offices advance sustainability at TUM in a variety of ways. Their activities can be grouped into four key areas.
The Green Offices raise awareness of sustainability and encourage students and staff to actively engage in sustainability-related initiatives. Through a wide range of educational and participation opportunities, they foster exchange, capacity building, and collective action for sustainable development.
The Green Offices connect stakeholders within and beyond TUM and foster collaboration on sustainability-related topics. Through joint projects, events, and strategic partnerships, they create opportunities for exchange, knowledge sharing, and collective action.
The Green Offices are committed to advancing sustainable campus development and support projects that promote sustainability in everyday university life. In doing so, they create opportunities to make sustainability visible and tangible across their respective campus locations.
The Green Offices make sustainability topics and activities at TUM visible and strengthen their reach within and beyond the university. Through campaigns, communication formats, and public outreach, they provide information about sustainability initiatives, projects, and opportunities for engagement, thereby fostering a stronger sustainability culture within the university community.
The Green Offices consist of a total of 13 student staff members who contribute their knowledge and expertise across a wide range of fields, drawing on their diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
The teams actively contribute to the sustainable development of their respective campuses and bring their ideas and perspectives into the university community.
